Christian Suffering Why do Christians experience
pain, distress, and grief? How does God convert cursing into blessing? These questions are
answered in detail from the Scriptures. Understanding God’s reasons for suffering
equips the believer to handle adversity. We learn to identify and eliminate self-induced
misery and avoid divine punishment. Most important, we begin to comprehend the powerful
assets God has given us for solving problems. The Christian who uses these divine assets
produces poise under pressure, accelerates spiritual growth, and glorifies God to the
maximum. No suffering in life is too great for the plan of God.
