Plan of God reveals God’s provision for
your salvation, His purpose for your existence after salvation, and the treasures He has
waiting for your eternal future in heaven. The moment you believe in Christ you
immediately share His life and destiny. But for you to attain the wonderful peace,

Heathenism answers the

evidence by which every individual can become aware of His existence. He

The Blood of Christ links the New
Testament with the Old Testament. God ordained animal sacrifices in Israel to foreshadow

For hundreds of years, the innocent animal figuratively bore the guilt of the sinner.
When Christ came as the reality, the promise was fulfilled. Christ was judged on the cross
for the sins of mankind. He became the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world.
Throughout the New Testament the “blood of Christ” declares God’s

Isolation of Sin breaks the
vicious cycle of carnality shackling many believers to their past failures.
God’s grace solution for the believer’s sin is rebound, privately confessing or
naming your sins to God the Father. Rebound instantaneously accomplishes divine
forgiveness, recovery of the Holy Spirit, and restoration to fellowship with
God. Yet many believers immediately fall out of fellowship, caught in reaction,
guilt, and a chain of mental, verbal, or overt sins. As their frustration
mounts, carnality seems overwhelming.
How do you break this cycle? Disengage yourself from forgiven
sin! When God forgives a sin, it no longer belongs to you. Do not reclaim the
burden! God has blotted out your sin! Feeling guilty, habitually looking
backward, worrying or chronic self-reproach only perpetuates your status in
carnality. When you isolate your sins by “forgetting those things which are
past,” you can “press on” to the high ground of spiritual

Rebound & Keep Moving! is
the key that unlocks the Christian way of life. After salvation the sin nature remains a
relentless adversary, tempting the believer to sin and live in carnality. When the
believer sins, fellowship with God is broken, the filling of the Holy Spirit is
temporarily lost, and spiritual progress ceases. Rebound is the most simple yet most
incredible concept in the spiritual life. Rebound defeats sin. Guilt, anguish, remorse
over past failures vanish when we know that God forgives and forgets all past sins.
Rebound is our access to intimacy with the Lord, the gateway to divine

The Prodigal Son leaves home and
squanders his inheritance in riotous living. His elder brother stays home and
works hard. When the prodigal returns and is restored to his father, the elder
brother becomes petty, jealous, bitter, and resentful. Despite their different
paths into carnality, their sins cannot remove them from the circumstances of
their birth. Once a son, always a son!
As a “born again” believer, whether you sin like the prodigal or
like the elder brother, you remain a permanent member of the family of God, but
you lose your temporal fellowship with God. To remedy this rift, God has
provided a simple, grace procedure—rebound—so that your postsalvation sins
are forgiven and you can recover fellowship and move on in the Christian life.
Jesus taught the parable of the prodigal son to an audience of self-righteous
legalists who reviled the profligate prodigal and praised the holier-than-thou
elder brother. Yet, they entirely missed the message! Everyone who believes in
Christ by faith alone is a permanent son of God. Once a family member, any
believer can reclaim his Christian life from carnality and be restored to
fellowship with God.

Christian Integrity is the
strength of the advancing believer. Integrity means wholeness of character, consistency of
word and deed, uncompromising adherence to a code of values. Christian integrity comes
from living by the Word of God.
This book presents the Christian way of life as a dynamic unity. Each
biblical command for the believer reveals an aspect of God’s grace, but all His grace
provisions function together as a single system of power and love.
By understanding God’s plan as an integrated system, the believer can
adhere to all God’s mandates. He can avoid distortions that come from taking favorite
biblical principles out of their doctrinal context. No part or parts of God’s system
will function effectively if isolated from the system as a whole. The believer who lives
within God’s system of power and love has Christian integrity.

Divine Guidance is the doctrine of
determining God’s will for your life. God guides you by communicating His will
through divine revelation. No believer can know or do the will of God apart from knowing
the Word of God.
The Bible reveals numerous mandates that universally declare what the will
of God is and is not for every believer. The other intentions God has for your individual
life that are not directly stated in Scripture must be determined from Bible doctrine in
your soul. From the application of Bible doctrine you will resolve what God wants you to
think, what He wants you to do, and where He wants you to go.
As the personal emissaries of the Lord Jesus Christ, you represent Him
effectively after salvation only by obeying God’s will for your life. Learning the
mandates, categories, and mechanics of divine guidance give you the basics for doing His
will. Spiritual growth and maturity supply confidence that you will know God’s design
at any time and under every circumstance of life.
The Faith-Rest Life Faith-Rest is the life of peace designed for you as a
believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. This life is characterized by a moment-by-moment
tranquillity, happiness, and stability. But how can you have this perfect rest when you
are surrounded by pressure, adversity, and disaster?
God wants you to do only one thing—trust Him! Believe His Word! Mix the promises
from the Bible with faith! If you trusted Him for the greatest thing He could ever
provide—salvation, then, you can trust Him for the lesser thing—solutions to
your problems.
When you use the faith-rest technique, you stand on the solid ground of the Word of
God. Bible doctrine becomes a living reality in every experience. No matter what happens
to you, no matter how difficult your problems, you have “the peace of God which
passes all understanding.”

Follow the Colors Down
through the ages, military organizations have employed various types of flags or
“colors” around which soldiers could rally amidst the confusion of combat.
The battle cry, “Follow the colors!” became the command to strike a mortal
blow against the enemy; to fight and attain the high ground—the place of
victory.
Jesus Christ, the Supreme Commander, leads His battalions into
spiritual warfare. He unfurls the regimental colors of Bible doctrine and calls
for the royal regiment of the family of God to follow. With knowledge of Bible
doctrine resident in the soul the believer charges onto the battlefield of the
angelic conflict. Wherever the colors lead, the believer who follows to the high
ground of spiritual maturity will secure spiritual victory and accrue fantastic
rewards in eternity.
Reversionism Why do
believers sometimes act like unbelievers? Are they truly saved? Yes! If they
have believed in Jesus Christ they are saved for all eternity. But any Christian
who habitually revolts against God’s plan is in reversionism, a state of
spiritual decadence brought on by rejection or neglect of Bible doctrine.
Reversionism explains why believers emulate unbelievers. In reversionism sin
becomes a way of life. Yet in grace God always provides the way of recovery.
Avoid the pitfalls of reversionism by living the supergrace
life. The advancing believer with Bible doctrine in his soul can distinguish
between divine viewpoint as the manifestation of the thinking of Christ and
human viewpoint as the expression of Satan’s diabolical genius. Through
consistent progressive spiritual growth the believer can preclude the ravages of
retrogressing into the various stages of reversionism.

Tongues “will cease.”
Distortions have permeated contemporary Christianity making this one of the most
controversial statements in the Bible. Millions of believers today profess to
speak a language they do not understand as a manifestation of the baptism of the
Holy Spirit and evidence of a superior relationship with God. The animation and
enthusiasm of their displays have infiltrated denominations and sects throughout
the Christian world.
The spiritual gift of tongues, prophesied by Isaiah, was
designed for a specific divine purpose—a warning sign to Israel of impending
national destruction. This gift, bestowed by the Holy Spirit on the Day of
Pentecost A.D. 30, would be an unmistakable sign of Israel’s spiritual failure
and imminent divine judgment, and would also herald the new Church Age. But is
this spiritual gift operational today?
The final authority for resolving the theological conundrum of
tongues is the infallible Word of God. Subjective thinking and emotionalism
mislead and obscure the truth of Bible doctrine. Only the pertinent passages
from the Scripture, correctly translated and accurately interpreted, can reveal

Mental Attitude Dynamics Have
this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 2:5)
Behind every face is a mental attitude, a manner of thinking.
You are what you think! God mandates that you think divine viewpoint—the mind
of Christ—a perspective of life based on the infallible Word of God. When
Bible doctrine is the foundation of your thinking, you will have confidence and
stability under all circumstances, an orientation to grace, an inner happiness
that produces capacity for life, love, and blessing, and a relaxed mental
attitude toward people.

The Trinity is a doctrine unique to

Daniel, Chapters One through Six
In every age God’s plan for humanity includes certain ordinary people who do the
extraordinary: They impact history and glorify God by using divine solutions to overcome
adversity. What enables these remarkable believers to exhibit virtue and courage in a

Daniel was such a man. Under the intense pressure of catastrophe his

The Divine Outline of History
is etched in time and explained in the Word of God. God unfolds His plan for mankind as a

Freedom through Military
Victory Can a believer in Jesus Christ serve his country as a soldier, kill the
enemy, and at the same time be a good Christian? Can a believer justify being a
conscientious objector? Did God contradict Himself in the commandments, “You shall
not murder” and “You shall defeat them, then you shall utterly destroy
them?” The Bible answers these critical questions.
God established a principle by which a nation may guard its sovereignty,

sometimes his life that others might live in freedom. For those of us who are the
beneficiaries of these two glorious sacrifices, revere our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Satan and Demonism Before the
beginning of human history Satan and his angels instigated a conflict in the spiritual
realm that continues to this very moment. The drama of this spiritual warfare storms
across the pages of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Mankind was created to resolve
this ancient conflict, but Satan and the unseen demon hordes he commands will not suffer
defeat without an intense struggle. One tactic Satan employs is the varied facets of demon
activity. Demonism has pervaded and plagued man since the fall of Adam.
Demonism blinds unbelievers to the Gospel, distracts believers from the
spiritual life, and threatens nations with divine judgment. Those who are ignorant or
confused about Satan’s subtle strategies become easy prey. Critical questions
continually arise: How do people become enmeshed in demonism? What is demon influence? Who
can be demon-possessed? Is exorcism valid? How can the believer protect himself from

Individuals under the influence of demons are pawns in the diabolical cause of Satan.

Victorious Proclamation
History’s most unique testimony to the Gospel occurred shortly after Jesus
Christ rose from the grave. Christ embarked on a remarkable journey to make “proclamation to the spirits in prison.” Who were these spirits? Why
and where were they incarcerated?
The spirits were Satan’s minions, demons, who continually waged
war to prevent the advent of Jesus Christ through whom God would fulfill His
promise of salvation. During the antediluvian period, certain of these demons
cohabited with women attempting to pollute the human race with “Nephilim,”
half-men, half-demons. Their proliferation would destroy the human line of
Christ preventing the birth and death of the unique God-man. But God judged the
earth with a worldwide flood and imprisoned these transgressing demons in Tartarus in chains of darkness.
Christ’s sudden appearance and pronouncement of His victory on
the cross to the incarcerated demons resounded against the gates of hell. The
resurrected Christ was visible proof of the failure and defeat of Satan’s
strategy. The penalty of sin had been paid so that mankind could make a decision

SELECTED CHILDREN’S BOOKS
The Neverending Journey, The Great
Adventure Will you always be present when your children make important decisions
in life? Will you always be there to help your children solve the problems they face? Have
you provided them with the ability to make decisions and to solve their own problems?
God is giving you a wonderful opportunity to spiritually train your
children and other children. The rewards of seeing these youngsters on the correct road
are indescribable. Teaching Bible doctrine to your children provides the ability to face
and to solve the problems and adversities of life.
The intensified stage of the angelic conflict can be seen today in the
increased attacks on children. They are going to face problems uncommon to their age. They
must understand the Gospel message and, as young believers, begin to comprehend the plan
of God.
God has given us the solution to all problems—Bible doctrine. Just as
with salvation, learning and using doctrine do not depend on intelligence, age, culture,
talent, or human abilities, but on God’s grace. So, if a child can believe in Jesus
Christ as Savior, then he can also learn, think, and use Bible doctrine. Equip your

SELECTED TRANSCRIPT
Laura Kay’s Legacy “Sweet
little Laura Kay” was called to her eternal home on 3 November 1998. Although
classified as physically and mentally handicapped, her life is proof that there are no
spiritual handicaps in the Christian way of life. Her biography is a tribute to the grace
of God: saving grace, living grace, dying grace, and eternal grace.
At the victory celebration for Laura Kay, Pastor Thieme made the Gospel
crystal clear and used the testimony of her life to illustrate the equal opportunity
available to every believer in the unique spiritual life, regardless of human limitations.
His anecdotes revealed Laura Kay’s limitless spiritual iq in the utilization of the
divine problem-solving devices. Throughout her life of tremendous pain, suffering, and
testing, she remained steadfast in her confidence in God. She tenaciously pursued His Word
and His plan for her life.
Laura Kay was content to follow the destiny God had assigned to her. She
worked for R. B. Thieme, Jr., Bible Ministries for twenty-four years loyally and
faithfully performing her daily tasks as unto the Lord. She stuffed books into envelopes
and put them in the mail. Laura Kay understood the importance of supplying the Word of God
to people everywhere. She loved the Lord and this gave her His happiness and a remarkable
capacity to love people—she had friends all over the world!
Laura Kay Tapping—a trophy of grace! Her spiritual life will have
impact far beyond her death.
