R. B. Thieme, Jr., Bible Ministries

The word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a critic of thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)

All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God might be mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15)

TheTrinity.jpg (17417 bytes)The Trinity is a doctrine unique to Christianity. No other faith, religion, sect, or philosophy advocating one God also proclaims there are three who are God. This apparent paradox does not mean there are ‘three gods in one’, but that one God exists as three Persons, all three possessing the same essential nature. Trinitarian tenets are not abstract theology. There is a practical reason for every believer in Jesus Christ to fully comprehend this doctrine.

Our understanding of the plan that God the Father has for each of us illuminates our destiny in time and eternity. Our understanding of the Person and work of Jesus Christ illuminates our so-great salvation. Our understanding of the Holy Spirit affects our concept of living the Christian life. Spirituality, worship, and a maturing relationship with God can be ours only when we understand the biblical perspective of the Trinity.
