R. B. Thieme, Jr., Bible Ministries

The word of God is alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit, and of the joints and the marrow, and is a critic of thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)

All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God might be mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Tim. 2:15)

ValeriesVictory.jpg (7412 bytes)Valerie's Victory (a memorial for children) The sudden and shocking death of Valerie Cearfoss at age eight leaves behind a poignant message of the grace of God that is important for her friends and for all young people to hear. It is natural to describe Valerie's sudden death as an accident, but for the believer in the Lord Jesus Christ there are no accidents in the Christian life. God has a purpose for keeping the believer alive on this earth; but He also has a purpose for taking each one of us home to heaven at just the right time.

Valerie is an inspiration for children everywhere. Her brief life was filled with a love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which gave her capacity for life and happiness. Her death brings a new dimension to the lives of children left behind. Death is part of life. Death is not the end, but the beginning. That beginning is

No more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain, no more death; the old things of this life have passed away. (Revelation 21:4b)
